A MOBILE SHIP WHICH IS EQUIPPED WITH A LIMITED NUMBER OF CERTIFIED METEROLOGICAL INSTRUMENT FOR MAKING OBSERVATION AND WHICH TRASMITS THE OBSERVATIONS IN THE ABBREVIATED FORM OF THE CODE CONSISTING OF 12 OR MORE GROUPS.
C] AUXILIARY SHIP
A MOBILE SHIP NORMALLY NOT PROVIDED WITH CERTIFIED METEOROLOGICAL INSTRUMENTS, WHICH TRANSMITS WEATHER REPORTS IN DISTRURBED WEATHER OR UNDER A SPECIAL REQUEST, IN THE REDUCED FORM OF THE CODE CONSISTING OF 11 OR MORE GROUPS.

9. If the ship meets any hazard to navigation, such as ice or derelict.
